Unnnggghhhh.  Yesterday was blah.  I had this thing in the morning where my head got all hot and I sneezed a lot.  Then I was freezing all day and had to wear my coat.  Which is annoying.  (Now I am all hot again this morning.)  Practice was blah.  Good drills, great to have Gaygan and Sweets back, but it just didn’t do it for me.  Probably because we skated 25 laps the wrong direction on the outside of the track (we were supposed to do 15, but kept going) and my back knotted up so bad I had to sit out.  Which of course I was hard on myself about.  I tried hard to stay in, and I tried hard to cheer everyone else on, but my back put it’s foot down and said “fuh kew.”

Food.  I was over.  When I hit slightly below 150lbs, Fitbit altered my suggested Caloric Intake to increase my weight to 150 (because 150 was my target weight).  So I reset to a goal of 145, with a due date of Nov 27.  It has me at a 750 daily caloric deficit now.  I’ve been toying w/ the idea of changing the goal again, but I want to see if that Steak and Lobster dinner works itself off first (otherwise I’ll just be re-resetting.)  Anyway, I’m about 500 calories over the 750 defecit, so I technically consumed 250 calories less than I burned yesterday….  I guess. Totally needed a glass of Red Wine when I got home.  I was kicking my puppy right in its teeth.  The wine didn’t help.  I had weird dreams last night, too.

Salad dressing–I read a recipe for Orange Balsamic Salad Dressing a while ago, and was in a hurry yesterday and couldn’t remember all the ingredients.  So I just threw OJ, Honey, and Greek Yogurt in a dish and mixed them.  Some balsamic vinegar definitely would have increased the flavor.  I miss cooking and posting recipes and food photos on here.  😦  Maybe I will do that after TBT.

Yesterday on the way to practice I was sick of listening to all my music, so I went with a playlist I never listen to.  The Hanson playlist.  Loved them. Everyone always ragged on them, and I get it, but I still like this song and the lyrics.  So I was actually thinking about posting these lyrics before the Daily Prompt was to title your blog with a song lyric.  Anyway:

“You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they’re gone so fast
And they’re gone so fast,
So hold on the ones who really care
In the end they’ll be the only ones there
And when you get old and start losing your hair
Can you tell me who will still care?”
