Grocery Shopping HELP

I’m going grocery shopping later.  I need HELP.  What should I get?

  • Quinoa
  • Kale/Spinach
  • Avocado
  • Salmon of some sort…

    I get frozen berries and make a smoothie with half kale/half berries.

    Hi! I’m not sure where you shop but almost all grocery stores are set up the same way. I avoid the aisles and stay on the outer parameter of the grocery store—this is where the ‘real’ food is- poultry, fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed foods are placed. Almost everything in the center aisles of the store are “processed foods” containing tons of harmful substances. I only go to the inner aisles for oil and rice pasta. At my grocery store the bulk section is also at the parameter. This simple rule of thumb might help. Also, when buying salmon make sure it is wild salmon. Alaska while salmon is the healthiest type. To eat better I just re-create my favorite foods but with healthy ingredients.
